Durable Raw Materials...Northern maple wood is the best wood to use when building a lift chair. Golden Tech's wood is kiln dried to reduce moisture to only 4%. Northern maple is superior to oak when it comes to chair frames because oak can split and crack more easily. This results in loud sounds and frustrating maintenance problems.
Craftmanship...How a product is built defines how long the product will last. Each joint in a Golden Tech chair is double doweled and corner blocked with steel reinforcements. Wood and metal are separated with high strength plastic bushings and the springs are custom fit with "sound absorbent fabric" that virtually eliminates any noise, allowing for smooth, quiet usage.
Smart Engineering...By wrapping the arm of the chair with high quality, long-lasting protective foam, both the chair and the user are protected. By adding a thin strip of foam down the front of the chair, those "sharp" edges are covered, thus protecting the user.
